We reserve the right to update these Terms, with changes posted on this page and significant updates communicated via email or platform notifications.

1. User Responsibilities

As a user (freelancer or client), you agree to:

  • Provide Accurate Information: Submit truthful and complete information during registration, including a valid email address and, for freelancers, a PayPal email for direct payments.
  • Comply with Policies: Adhere to all Taskit247 policies, including maintaining accounts in good standing and resolving disputes amicably.
  • Respect Intellectual Property: Only upload content you own or have permission to use, and respect the intellectual property of others.
  • Lawful Use: Use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to freelancing and payments.

2. Freelancer Obligations

Freelancers on Taskit247 are responsible for:

  • Service Delivery: Deliver services as described in your gigs, meeting agreed-upon deadlines and quality standards.
  • Direct Transactions: Manage payments directly with clients via your PayPal email. Taskit247 does not hold or process payments, charging only a 10% commission on completed transactions.
  • Account Standing: Maintain no more than two open resolutions at any time. If issues arise, you have 7 days after a warning to resolve them before gigs are temporarily deactivated by our AI system.
  • Single Account Policy: Use only one account, as our AI monitoring prevents multiple accounts to ensure fairness.

3. Client Obligations

Clients using Taskit247 agree to:

  • Clear Communication: Provide clear project requirements and respond promptly to freelancers.
  • Direct Payments: Pay freelancers directly via their provided PayPal email, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Dispute Resolution: Work directly with freelancers to resolve issues amicably, with Taskit247 support available to assist.

4. Platform Role and Limitations

Taskit247 acts as a marketplace connecting freelancers and clients, not as a payment processor or escrow service. Our role includes:

  • Facilitation: Providing tools for gig creation, communication, and transaction tracking.
  • Commission: Charging freelancers a 10% commission on completed transactions, deducted automatically.
  • Support: Offering assistance for disputes, though final resolutions are between freelancers and clients.
  • Limitations: We are not liable for disputes, payment failures, or service quality, as transactions occur directly between users.

5. Account Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Policy Violations: Breaching these Terms, including maintaining multiple accounts or exceeding two open resolutions.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Engaging in deceptive practices, detected by our AI monitoring system.
  • Legal Compliance: Actions that violate applicable laws or harm the platform’s integrity.

Users will receive a warning and 7 days to resolve issues before deactivation, with support provided to restore accounts to good standing.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Taskit247, including site design and branding, is owned by Taskit247 or its licensors. Users retain ownership of their gig content but grant Taskit247 a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform. Users must not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

7. Limitation of Liability

Taskit247 is not liable for:

  • Transaction Disputes: Issues arising from direct payments or service delivery between freelancers and clients.
  • Service Quality: The quality, accuracy, or legality of services provided by freelancers.
  • Data Loss: Loss of data due to technical issues, though we implement robust security measures.

Our liability is limited to the amount of commission collected from a transaction.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Updates will be posted at taskit247.com/freelance/terms.php, with significant changes communicated via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
